During my recent stay at Hotel Materese, I had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, Gli Ulivi. The ambiance is inviting, with both an intimate indoor dining room and a delightful outdoor space that overlooks the lush garden-an ideal setting for enjoying a meal. Each dish showcased the genuine flavors of local ingredients, emphasizing simplicity and health without sacrificing taste. For breakfast, I savored fresh fruit straight from the garden; it brought seasonal produce to the forefront. The hotel's wine cellar also features a thoughtfully curated selection, enhancing the meal. The culinary innovation I experienced at Gli Ulivi certainly left an impression. The meals were not just about sustenance but rather a sensory exploration, reflecting the essence of Ischia's rich culinary heritage. Hotel Materese truly offers an authentic taste of the island, inviting guests to connect with its natural bounty through food.
